Quinta do Boiço is a traditional Portuguese farm in a beautiful secluded valley in Central Portugal, near the small market town of Tábua. It comprises a granite farmhouse with 125m² of living area, a recently renovated two-bedroom holiday cottage, two smaller outbuildings suitable for accommodation and a shed for keeping animals. Electricity is provided by a solar system, heating by woodburners including a central heating system in the main house. A spring provides water for domestic use and there is a water mine for irrigation.
The extent of the land is 7.5 hectares which includes terraces for vegetable gardening, numerous olive trees and many other fruit trees. Roughly two hectares is a fenced area which includes two paddocks. Surrounding this there is woodland comprising mostly pines and strawberry trees.
After thirteen years of caring for this wonderful property, the current owners are, with much sadness, offering it for sale at a price of € 267 900
With views of the Serra de Estrela to the east and the Serra de Caramulo to the north, Quinta do Boico is a magical homestead in a calm and beautiful setting.
